Open Source
The software and fonts HomeVault is built with, and their licences.
Standing on other people's work
HomeVault is a small app, and a good deal of what makes it work was written by other people and given away. Everything below is used under a licence that asks for credit, so here it is.
The app itself is not open source. The format it writes is: the vault is plain JSON in a folder you own, the schema is published, and there is a validator and a standalone reader you can run against your own files without HomeVault involved at all.
Software
.NET MAUI — MIT
The cross-platform framework the app is built on, so that one codebase runs on both iOS and Android.
Copyright (c) .NET Foundation and Contributors — licence
CommunityToolkit.Mvvm — MIT
Generates the plumbing that connects each screen to the data behind it.
Copyright (c) .NET Foundation and Contributors — licence
Microsoft.Extensions.Logging — MIT
The logging abstraction behind the in-app diagnostics log.
Copyright (c) .NET Foundation and Contributors — licence
Plugin.LocalNotification — MIT
Schedules the maintenance and warranty reminders on each platform. HomeVault has no server, so every reminder is scheduled locally on your own device — this is the library that asks the operating system to do it.
Fonts
JetBrains Mono — SIL Open Font License 1.1
The monospaced typeface used throughout the app and this site.
Copyright (c) 2020 The JetBrains Mono Project Authors — licence
Open Sans — SIL Open Font License 1.1
Used for longer passages of text inside the app.

What is not in that list
No analytics library. No advertising or attribution SDK. No crash reporter that phones home. No HTTP client talking to a HomeVault server, because there is no HomeVault server. The list above is the whole of it, which is why the privacy answers on both app stores are simply “no data collected”.
